Only 2.6% of Lone Parents on the Work Programme have got a job.

The Work Programme statistics released on Tuesday show that of the 64,220 Lone Parents who have been refferred to the programme only 1650 have got a sustained job. Thats 2.6% compared to 3.5% overall.

Overall Men were more likely to get a job than Women, but only just – 3.6 compared to 3.3

The figures show there is both room for a lot of improvement and a need for more specialist support to groups with particular needs.

Finally Congratulations to one of our Partners EOS who were in the top three performers on the whole Work programme.
